Green Up Day

Seniors


May 15th, 2018

Prom: Prom is this Saturday, May 19th. Tickets will be on sale beginning May 4th in Mrs. Mero’s office. Tickets are $25 (Single) or $40 (Couple).

Regents Review (3:05-4PM): Earth Science (Mr. Jebb) & Algebra ll (Mrs. Carey). Anyone needing a 4PM Bus please sign up in the office.

Spanish: Senora Gaddor is going to Nicaragua on a service mission in February 2019 with the North Country Mission of Hope.  If you are interested in going in 2019 or in future years, join us Tuesday, May 15th @ 2:45PM in the Spanish classroom for an informational presentation and question & answer session with Sister Debbie Blow, the Director of the Mission.

Early College Awareness Week (Monday): Show your college spirit!! Wear the colors or clothes of the college you wish to attend!! Did you know that there are different types of colleges? You just need to find the right fit for you! These types of colleges include: Four Year Colleges, Liberal Arts Colleges, Two-Year Colleges, Trade/Vocational colleges, and Online Colleges.

Juniors: Class meeting Tuesday, May 1st in Mrs. LaDeau’s room @ 2:25PM.

Educational Trip: Miss Andersen will be leading two trips next year. There will be an adventure tour of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico in February 2019 or a journey exploring Scotland in April 2019. Please see Ms. Andersen for information on either. We will have an informational meeting soon.

Journalism & FCCLA: NYC Permission slips and money are due to Mrs. Charron TODAY!!!

Sophomore: any girl or boy interested in modeling during the Distinguished Young Woman Fashion Show, please sign up ASAP. The program will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Sign-up sheet outside of Mrs. Popp’s room.

Girl’s Modified Softball: practice today from 3PM-4:30PM

Boy’s Modified Baseball: practice today from 4:30PM-6PM.

Golf: practice starts today, from 3PM-5PM.

Thursday's Schedule: There will be a 2nd bus run on Thursday 3-29-18. There will still be an After-School Program.

Photos: This Thursday, March 29th, Mrs. Gunnison will be taking pictures of extra-curricular group members. Wear something nice if you would like.

Savor the Arts: Congratulations to Mrs. French & all who participated in Savor the Arts for making $1000.

Senior Trip: There will be a MANDATORY meeting for Parents & Seniors going on the cruise Tonight @ 6PM in Mrs. Perry’s room.

Senior vs. Faculty Basketball Game: Faculty Basketball sign up on Senior Bulletin Board.

Science Fair: Thursday @ 6PM in the Auditorium.

Change Bandits: The grade that collects the most money for the big change roundup will win an ice cream party!!  We are off to a great start.  2nd grade is in the lead with about $77.  6th grade is in second place with about $30.  We have a school total of about $138.  Keep up the good work!! Our goal this year is $2000!!

SADD: Meeting Wednesday, March 7th @ 2:25PM in the library.

DRAMA: Rehearsal today from 3PM-7PM.

Art & Science Field Trip: Permission slips are due to Ms. Andersen Wednesday, March 7th.

CFES: This week, the CFES Leadership Team is having a Penny Raffle at the double doors from 2:25 pm – 3:05 pm.  Please stop by and draw a ticket or two. All proceeds will sponsor a Crown Point student’s experience at either Camp Dudley or Camp Kiniya.  Thank you!

Uniforms: All winter sports uniforms should be cleaned and turned in to your Coach!!

Winter Sports Awards: Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 6PM-7PM in the Gymnasium. We can’t hide our Panther Pride!!!

Baseball: Tryouts will be next Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday- March 12, 13 & 14.  There will be a meeting today March 6th from 3:05PM to 3:30PM in Mr. Pertak’s room.  All players that plan on trying our must attend. All paperwork will be handed out.  Players will not be able to begin Try-outs on March 12th if paperwork is not turned in.

DRAMA: Drama rehearsal today from 3-6 pm (Act I, Scene I and Scene II).

ATTENTION STUDENTS: If you are interested in going to the Boys Varsity sectional semifinal Basketball game tonight in Ausable Valley vs. Schroon Lake and do not have a ride, we would like to offer a spectator bus to the event. We need a minimum of 15 students, and an adult chaperone to ride the bus as well. If you are interested in going, please stop by the office and sign up on the orange sheet on Mrs. Mero’s desk ASAP!!!  We would love to have a large crowd behind us in this important game!!!!  Bus will leave CP at 4:30 pm and return between 8-8:30 pm.
