School Closing Information.
Important information regarding School Closings due to inclement weather!!!
When weather conditions are bad, Mrs. Brannock,
Superintendent,
and Mr. Fish, Head of Transportation, communicate with the Department of
Transportation and the State Police to determine the road conditions.
If a decision is made to either delay or close school, the information
will be sent to the radio station and TV stations as soon as
possible. We use the following media:
News Channel 3
WPTZ News Channel 5
Capital News 9
WOKO 98.9 FM Radio
If you are wondering if there will be school due to weather conditions, please listen/watch one of the above for the latest information regarding our school.
If we need to close early due to inclement weather, we will notify the above media as well as try to telephone the parents of younger students. Please be sure we have phone numbers where you can be reached during the day, as we cannot send the young children home unless we are sure someone is there.
